On Sunday, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chief Executive Officer, Wasim Khan said that the board is formulating a policy next month on how to vaccinate its players against COVID-19.
Wasim Khan disclosed that there were few options under consideration and advice was also sought from the medical panel of the PCB. He thinks by next month they'll be able to formulate a policy on getting Pakistan team officials and players vaccinated.
He added that no Test playing nation has made any final decision to get their players vaccinated as of now, but they are looking at some options.
Khan mentioned that the PCB was seriously considering vaccination options for officials and players of the national team, thus the bio-secure bubble restrictions could be reduced.
On Sunday, the government sent a Pakistan Air Force (PAF) special aircraft to China to carry in the 1st batch of 500,000 Sinopharm vaccine doses.
