Australia home summer 2021-22 season schedule

Cricket Australia (CA) has announced the 2021-22 home summer schedule, which will begin with a series against India Women (dates to be announced) and conclude with a five-match T20I series against Sri Lankan Men. They'll also host an ODI and T20I series against New Zealand. The men's and women's Ashes, on the other hand, are the big draw.

The men's Ashes begin on December 8, and the final Test starts on January 14. The matches will be held in Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and Perth. On January 27, the women's Ashes will begin, followed by three ODIs and as many T20Is.

Last year, Afghanistan was scheduled to play a single Test match on Australian soil. The match, however, had to be postponed due to the ungodly COVID-19 pandemic's numerous complications. The game will now take place at the Blundstone Arena on November 27, 2021. The match takes place just before the start of the men's and women's Ashes.

For the time being, Australia will tour the West Indies for an ODI and T20I series, which will begin on July 9. The T20Is will be held at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium in Gros Islet, St. Lucia, while the ODIs will be held at the Kensington Oval in Barbados. CA recently announced a provisional squad of 23 players for the same tour.
