Robin Tan will become the as Berjaya Sports Toto chairman

Datuk Sri Robin Tan Yeong Ching has been named chairman of Berjaya Sports Toto Bhd (BToto) with effect from today.

He replaces Tan Sri Tan Kok Ping, who resigned after serving the company since August 2018, according to a statement from BToto.

According to the company, Robin was previously the CEO of BToto for 12 years, from December 2006 to June 2018.

Derek Chin Chee Seng has been named executive director of BToto, and Datuk Seri Wong Chun Wai as the independent non-executive director.

Derek Chin and Datuk Seri Wong Chun Wai also offer a wealth of expertise, unique skill, and proven leadership to Btoto, which will guide and support the company's plans and goals. Btoto looks forward to their contributions as the company continues to expand.

Seow Swee Pin (executive director), Datuk Oon Weng Boon (independent non-executive director), and Datuk Robert Yong Kuen Loke (independent non-executive director) are among the new board members according to the company (senior independent non-executive director).

BToto anticipates their contributions to further growth and supports the group's strategy and ambitions due to these new boardroom changes.
