7 Up Baccarat

7 Up Baccarat is a baccarat variant with basically the same rules and gameplay as regular baccarat, except that the Player hand always starts with a seven as the opening card. As a result of the differences in probabilities, the pay is also different.

Rules of 7 Up Baccarat

• Used six decks of shuffled poker cards.
• The Player's first card is invariably a seven. A seven is printed on the felt to denote this.
• The Player is dealt one card in addition to the seven, while the Banker is dealt two cards.
• The drawing rules are identical to those used in traditional baccarat.
• Except for a Player win of 7, which pays 1 to 2, wins on the Player bet pay even money. Ties are still a tie, and Banker bets are a loser.
• Except for a Banker win of 7, which pays 9 to 5, wins on the Banker bet pay even money. Player wins result in a loss, and ties are still a push.
• Except for a 7-point tie, which pays 9 to 1, tie bets pay 7 to 1.
• A side bet called "Super Sevens" pays out based on the amount of sevens in both the Player and Banker, including the Player's initial seven.

Strategy 7 Up Baccarat
My general recommendation to baccarat players is that the odds are greater in traditional baccarat if you favour the Player and Banker bets. 7 Up Baccarat, on the other hand, is a better value if you enjoy the significant odds on the side bets. If you don't choose and must play 7 Up, the Banker is your best chance, with a 2.56 % house edge.
