BCCI will reveal India T20 World Cup 2021 squad on September 7

BCCI is set to unveil India's T20 World Cup roster on September 7. The multi-team event will occur in the United Arab Emirates and Oman from October 17 to November 14, with India's campaign beginning on October 24 in Dubai versus arch-rivals Pakistan.

The BCCI is expected to pick a 15-player roster for the world event, with at least three players as reserves, most likely Ishan Kishan, Prithvi Shaw, and a spinner. However, there was no formal confirmation of this concern.

The Indian team is currently in the United Kingdom with 20 members and four reserve players for the upcoming Test series against England, which is now tied at 1-1, with India winning at Lord's and England winning at Headingley. Due to heavy rain on the fifth and final day of the first match at Trent Bridge, no result was achieved.

With two more games remaining – at the Oval and Old Trafford – the team will stay in England until September 16 before departing for the UAE, where the IPL will continue on September 19. The league's second leg concludes on October 15, only two days before the T20 World Cup is set to begin.
